“Ann Arbor Gardens did an amazing job on our private courtyard renovation. The hardscape and landscape had not been cared for by the previous owner so we decided to start from scratch with a redo. From design to demolition to installation, Crystle and her team were wonderful to work with. The work to demo and install the hardscape was complicated by limited outside access to the space, which they handled beautifully, making sure to be respectful of the neighbors and adhere to HOA guidelines. Implementation of Crystle’s design exceeded our expectations. We love our new outdoor space and are grateful to AA Gardens for their great work.”

Our first project with Crystle was at our period home in Barton Hills where there were already established gardens and terraces that had not been well attended to. It was so satisfying to collaborate with Crystle, work on a plan and watch it come to life in a very challenging environment - lots of shade and lots of deer. Her crew came and expertly maintained everything. I was always happy to see them, knowing that everything would be beautiful when they left for the days. We recently built a new home and started from scratch. Crystle has an amazing eye for design, and we once again came up with a plan, collaborated on plant selections, implemented some amazing hardscapes and a pergola - something I never would have thought of on my own. “Crystle of Ann Arbor Gardens is very competent and trustworthy and excels in the ability to visualize a mature landscape. She was recommended by a friend after a house fire destroyed landscaping around our home.
We started “ground up” and now, after 6 years, I wonder how she knew then what we see now! The front of the home looks gorgeous most of the year (except when snow covers the ground in winter) and has received numerous compliments.
Her services are competitively priced and of the highest quality. Her love for nature and animals is very endearing . I have seen her rescue animals displaced from their homes due to construction and take the time to carefully bury the occasional dead bird she encounters while working, no matter how busy she may be.
